Presenting a rare, very weighty (16.9 kg) antique brass church altar gate, salvaged from a decommissioned church. This striking piece features solid brass construction with a classic ecclesiastical design, showcasing a geometric cross pattern with decorative circular and arched motifs. a central raised square panel with IHS monogram, and a top handrail with the classic gothic style 3 leaf quatrefoil (trefoil) profile. The original patina highlights its age and authentic character, with a warm golden hue typical of antique brass. The gate retains its original hinge mount and working floor latching bolt.
